Vist KAW Shelter

The KAW Shelter is located in Sector 151, Noida and is open to volunteers and visitors between Monday to Thursday from 12:00am until 16:00pm and Friday & Saturday from 11:00am until 17:00pm.

Visits have to be booked in advance. The team will send an email confirming your visit once your request for the same is received. The safety and well-being of our volunteers and resident animals are of utmost importance to us and hence volunteers/visitors must be accompanied by staff at all times. Please read the “Shelter Visit Guidelines” below:.

Shelter Visit Guideline

• Attire: you will spend your time at the shelter interacting with our dogs, many of whom are very affectionate and excited to see new people! Please wear full sleeves and pants to avoid receiving scratches.
• Water: Please ensure you bring enough water for your visit. Being outside with the dogs will make you thirsty and you should be well prepared!
• Treats: Do not feed the dogs outside of mealtimes- our KAW dogs follow a strict schedule and extra treats can disrupt that. Please only give treats with the permission of a staff member.
• Donations: to know what in-kind items KAW needs, please take a look at our Amazon wishlist here. We are always in need of both general and medical supplies. Feel free to bring any of those items along with you during your visit!

What to expect

You will be welcomed at our visitor and volunteer centre by one of our organisation or shelter staff. We will take a quick tour around the shelter, to explain KAW's the history and goals. You will have the chance to meet some of our lovely rescue dogs and be showered with affection. When you're satisfied with puppy play time, you have the option to browse our merchandise (as per availability) in the shelter.
