While much of the country’s attention is focused elsewhere, a small team of dedicated volunteers in Valsad, Gujarat continues to rescue animals trapped by devastating floods.
Led by Somu Patel, Shri Krishna Foundation has nearly 40 volunteers working day and night without salaries or recognition, to rescue cattle stranded in floodwaters, provide emergency care, and transport animals to safety.
They aren’t fundraising experts. They aren’t social media influencers.
They’re simply people who refuse to walk away when animals need help.
