Relentless monsoon rains have turned our shelter into mud.
The dogs have nowhere dry to eat, sleep, or recover. Wet floors, waterlogging, and damp surroundings increase the risk of infections, skin diseases, joint problems, and other life-threatening illnesses.
Your donation can help us build concrete flooring and provide a safe, clean, and dry shelter for hundreds of rescued dogs this monsoon.
When It Rains, Survival Becomes Even Harder.
Every monsoon brings new challenges for the rescued dogs at KAW.
Continuous rainfall floods the shelter, turning open spaces into slippery mud. Dogs recovering from surgeries and injuries are forced to rest on damp ground, making recovery slower and increasing the risk of infections.
Heavy rains also bring waterborne diseases, mosquito-borne illnesses, contaminated food, damaged shelter spaces, and constant maintenance challenges.
Our biggest priority this monsoon is building durable concrete flooring that keeps rescued dogs safe, dry, and healthy.
With your support, we can protect them from another season of suffering.
Every photograph tells the story of the challenges our rescued dogs face during the monsoon and how your support helps us keep them safe, dry, and cared for through the toughest season of the year.❤️🐾
