Rubal was found in terrible condition with one of his back legs severely bent and causing him immense pain. His damaged limb required urgent amputation to end his suffering. His surgery has now been completed, but Rubal still has a long road to recovery ahead.

A Painful Leg That Could No Longer Be Saved

Rubal was found in an extremely distressing condition, struggling with one of his back legs severely bent and damaged.

Every movement was painful.

By the time Rubal reached us, it was clear that his injured leg was causing him immense suffering and needed urgent medical attention.

After veterinary assessment, the decision was made that the damaged limb could not be saved and amputation was necessary to relieve his pain and give him the best chance at recovery.

Rubal has now undergone his limb-removal surgery successfully. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

But surgery is only the beginning.

He now needs careful post-operative monitoring, medicines, pain management, wound care and supportive treatment while his body heals and he gradually learns to balance and move comfortably on three legs.

Rubal Rescued in Severe Pain

Rubal was rescued with one of his back legs severely bent and damaged. He was struggling badly and in immense pain. Following veterinary assessment, it was determined that the injured limb could not be saved and would need to be amputated.

Rubalโ€™s limb-removal surgery has been completed successfully. His severely damaged back leg has now been amputated, freeing him from the constant pain caused by the injured limb. Rubal is currently under post-operative care and observation. He will continue to receive medication, pain management, wound care and supportive treatment as he begins his recovery.
