Found on the Road, Unable to Stand
Rosco was found on the road after what appears to have been an accident.
When help reached him, his back legs were not functioning properly, and he was unable to stand or walk.
We can only imagine how frightening and painful it must have been for him to lie there helplessly, unable to understand why his body would no longer support him.
His condition raises serious concerns about injuries to his spine, back and hind legs, and he urgently needs medical assessment, treatment and therapy to determine the extent of the damage and give him the best possible chance of regaining mobility.
As if that wasn’t enough, Rosco was also found covered in ticks, adding another concern to an already vulnerable condition.
We have started his treatment on an urgent basis because Rosco simply cannot wait.
The road ahead may require diagnostics, medicines, pain management, supportive care and continued physiotherapy as we understand the extent of his injuries and how much function he can regain.
Right now, we don’t know how long his recovery will take.
But we do know one thing.

Rosco’s back legs are not functioning properly, leaving him unable to support himself. His mobility will need to be closely monitored as treatment progresses.
Severe Tick Infestation
Rosco was also found covered in ticks. He requires treatment for the infestation along with monitoring for any associated complications.
