Fighting Through Unimaginable Pain
Danny came to us with one of the most distressing conditions we have seen. A large tumor has taken over almost half of his lower jaw, with maggots infesting the affected tissue.
The damage is extensive. A portion of his lower jaw bone is already broken and missing, and the tumor has spread across much of the remaining jaw.
Yet, despite the unimaginable pain he must be experiencing, Danny is still trying to eat. His will to survive is heartbreaking and extraordinary.
Our veterinary team is preparing Danny for urgent surgery to remove the tumor. During the procedure, the surgeons will assess the extent of damage to his jaw and determine whether any affected portion of the jaw bone also needs to be removed.
This is a major and complicated surgery, and Danny will require intensive post-operative care, medication, wound management, nutritional support, and close veterinary monitoring afterward.
Right now, our priority is simple: relieve Danny’s pain and give him a chance to survive.
