A Senior Girl Fighting for Comfort
At over 11 years of age, Cheenu should be spending her golden years surrounded by comfort and care. Instead, she is battling multiple serious medical conditions that have left her weak, vulnerable, and unable to walk properly.
Our veterinary team has found that most of Cheenu’s spine appears to be fused, along with what looks like an old moderate spinal dislocation. These chronic spinal changes are likely responsible for the severe weakness in her hind legs, making it difficult for her to stand or walk.
Further investigations have also revealed elevated kidney values, with a creatinine level of 3, indicating impaired kidney function that requires immediate treatment and close monitoring.
Cheenu is now receiving veterinary care, pain management, supportive therapy, and further diagnostics to determine the best treatment plan. While her spinal condition may be longstanding, our goal is to relieve her pain, improve her mobility as much as possible, and ensure she can live the rest of her life with dignity and comfort.
With your support, we can give Cheenu the care she deserves.
