Bianca is a beautiful, gentle Labrador who is currently under our care after her blood tests revealed low platelet levels.
Thankfully, the rest of her blood parameters are normal, which gives us hope. However, her platelet count remains a concern and needs careful monitoring and appropriate medical treatment until it returns to a healthy level.
Along with this, Bianca also has a small maggot-infested wound on her abdomen.
Our veterinary team is cleaning and dressing the wound regularly to remove the infection and allow it to heal properly.
Despite everything she is going through, Bianca remains the same sweet girl.
With timely treatment, proper rest, nutritious food, wound management and lots of love, we are hopeful that Bianca can make a full recovery. ❤️
For now, she remains under our care, where her platelet levels and wound will continue to be closely monitored.
