Rescued Just in Time
Fanny was found suffering from a deep, maggot-infested wound on the side of his neck. The wound had been left untreated, causing him immense pain and putting him at serious risk of infection and further complications.
Our rescue team immediately brought Fanny to safety, and his treatment has now begun. His wound needs thorough cleaning and maggot removal, followed by regular dressings, medication, pain management, and close veterinary supervision.
Maggot wounds can deteriorate rapidly if not treated aggressively. The coming days will therefore be crucial for Fanny as our team works to control the infection and allow the damaged tissue to heal.
With timely treatment and continued care, we are hopeful that Fanny can overcome this painful ordeal and make a full recovery.
