Every day, rescued animal residents at KAW depend on us for food, shelter, medicines, blood work, wound care and treatment.
Many arrived after accidents, illness, abandonment or neglect. Today, KAW is their safe place, a place where they can eat, recover, rest and live without fear.
Your support helps us give them the care they need, every single day.

For them, KAW is more than a shelter. It is home.
At Kannan Animal Welfare (KAW), 274+ rescued animal residents call our shelter home.
For them, care doesn’t stop once they are rescued.
Every day begins with food. Some need medicines. Others need blood tests to understand what is wrong. Injured animals need bandages and wound care. Critically ill animals may need emergency treatment and continuous medical attention.
And for those who cannot be rehomed, KAW becomes their lifelong home.
We make sure they have a safe place to stay, something to eat and the medical care they need to live with dignity.
But providing this care every day takes resources.
Your support helps keep their bowls full, their wounds treated and their home running.

Pooja’s Story
Pooja, a horse, was rescued after her owner abandoned her, leaving her to roam with bulls. Today, she is safe, loved, and living a beautiful life with us, free from cruelty and neglect.
For a rescued animal, your support can mean one more meal, one more treatment, one more safe night.
Help us give them the care they need to survive and the chance to live.
