His Body Is Covered in Painful Wounds
Pops was found in a condition that is difficult to even look at without wondering how much pain he must have endured.
His body is covered with multiple severe maggot-infested wounds, leaving him in unimaginable pain and requiring immediate medical attention.
But his wounds are not the only concern.
Blood tests have revealed that Pops’ platelet count and haemoglobin levels are dangerously low, making his overall condition even more critical.
Our veterinary team is currently focused on treating his wounds, conducting the necessary tests and stabilising him.
There is another serious concern.
Pops is struggling with a significant problem in his hind leg, and further investigations are underway to understand the extent of the injury and determine what treatment he will need.
Right now, there are several battles being fought at the same time.
His wounds need to be cleaned and treated. His blood parameters need to improve. His pain needs to be controlled. And we still need answers about what is happening with his hind leg.
