Our Girl Has Come Back to Us
You may remember Gargi, one of our ex-alumni who previously came to KAW for her spaying surgery.
Gargi is also the mother of Ganga, who was previously under our care for medical treatment. After completing their respective treatments, both Gargi and Ganga were released back to their familiar surroundings.
We hoped Gargi would never need us again.
Sadly, she has now returned to KAW — this time with a leg fracture. 💔
A fracture can be extremely painful and, without timely treatment and proper rest, can seriously affect a dog’s ability to walk and live independently.
Gargi now needs veterinary assessment and treatment to determine the severity of her fracture and the best course of action for her recovery.
She came to us once before, and we were there for her.
This time will be no different.
But every rescue and every treatment comes at a cost, and we cannot continue helping dogs like Gargi without your support.

Leg Fracture
Gargi has suffered a fracture in her leg and requires medical treatment to help the bone heal properly and restore her mobility.
Veterinary Assessment
She requires veterinary evaluation and diagnostics to assess the fracture and determine the appropriate course of treatment.
Medication & Pain Management
Gargi will need medication and pain management to keep her comfortable while her injured leg heals.
Recovery & Aftercare
Her journey will not end with the initial treatment. Gargi will need rest, monitoring and continued supportive care until she is strong enough to get back on her feet.
